Clove
Presentation
The Clove is a native Indonesian spice. Syzygium aromaticum is the scientific name of the evergreen tree from which it is obtained, and its name is due to its similarity to handmade nails. It is used as a spice for the preparation of dishes all over the world and has traditionally been used as a medicinal plant (active ingredients are extracted from cloves for the preparation of medicines). Once harvested, they are left to dry in the sun, a process that gives the spice its dark brown color and the strong and acrid fragrance that is so characteristic of it. The spice is sold whole or ground. Lopesa’s Clove, delicious fragrance for your meals.
